Earth Music at Sherborne Abbey

Earth Music arrived at Sherborne Abbey for two sold-out performances in a single evening. Beneath a suspended replica of planet Earth, a 17-piece orchestra brought the historic space to life through cinematic music, storytelling and light. The Abbey’s soaring architecture became part of the experience, framing the planet above the musicians as the sound travelled through the building.

Presented to two full audiences, the concerts moved between intimate moments and expansive orchestral sound. The scale of the orchestra, the beauty of the Abbey and the presence of the Earth created something deeply immersive—a chance to pause and see our planet from a different perspective, experiencing its story through music.
