About Our Planet

At the heart of Earth Music is a five-metre installation of the planet, created using detailed 120dpi NASA imagery of Earth’s surface. Suspended in space and slowly rotating, it offers audiences a rare opportunity to see our world in three dimensions.

The installation is designed to evoke the Overview Effect—a profound sense of awe, connection and shared responsibility experienced by astronauts when viewing Earth from space.

The installation and performances were produced independently. These materials document previous concerts, with thanks to the venues and audiences who made them possible.
